Can you please tell me a few places where I can start learning about trend analysis/charts/graphs?

Currently I am using barchart.com but its too complicated for a newbie like me. I don't want to rely only on my gut feelings.

Well, you can start by reading some good book on technical analysis.

Maybe you can start with "Technical Analysis of Stock Market Trends" by Edwards and Magee.

It may not be the best technical analysis software available, but it is free.

The basic concepts of technical analysis are easy to understand.

However, applying these concepts to make regular profits is something that very few people are able to do.
