The genuine version (Metastock 10) costs $499.

I have an old version....Metastock 7.

Many people in India use the pirated version.

You can contact them and ask if they ship to India.

I purchase data from

I don't subscribe to live or intra-day data now.

Usually, such data is expensive as exchanges charge a heavy fee for such data.

I am not aware of the charges. You should contact Viratech for it.

The charges are unlikely to be less than Rs 10000 per year.

it is software based.

one has to install their "StocksUP" software.

the software can then be used download the data from Viratech's site.

How much you are paying for this software?

My EOD data subscription has recently expired. I am finding other cheaper options.
By the way right now I am using Chartnexus which is indeed free. [Here I don't get (1.) data since inception and (2.) also It don't provide MCX, NCDEX, & currency data]

Rs 7200.

if you want commodities and forex data, you may have to pay a higher charge - somewhere around Rs 10000.

you should contact man4urheart.

he may be able to suggest you a better alternative.

Hello Man4urheart,
Do you have any better option?
What services are you using?

Hello Man4urheart,

I use free data. NSE and BSE is downloaded by a free utility direct from NSE and BSE website!

NCDEX- I look at SUGAR and MCDEX I look at GOLD and CRUDE. Both I download manually with my hands

It is actually fun to make data and gives me a traditional feeling when people use to patiently plot charts on paper

NOTICE: I am on holiday till SUNDAY, I have left my infrastructure at home! no charts till sunday guys! I think alchemist will do the charting part

Hi

I have written an application which can download NSE and BSe EOD data's. This can save data in database (SQL Server) or as a csv file.
i use amibroker, which can connect to a sql server database.

You can also schedule it, so that it downloads data at the scheduled time automatically.

Fantastic!
I am interested in knowing whether you have done any provisions for adjusted price after bonus, split etc.?
and can you also download data from NCDEX and MCX sites?
