That report appears ridiculously complicated to me.
The fact is nothing beats drawing simple trendlines, moving averages and envelopes, and using volume (and open interest) for conformation. (as repeatedly insisted by great technical analysts like Alexander Elder & John J Murphy).
Those are the foundation pillars on which all of classical technical analysis rest.
