Default Fibotrader - Free Technical Analysis Software

Try this popular software.

http://www.fibotrader.com/sw_free.php

If you have data in flat files this could be a good option.

Are you a intra day trader? Why do you lead Live streaming quote at first place?

For Live streaming you need to pay for data!

But there is a technique to load LIVE data from Power IndiaBulls charts to Flat File and then same to Amibroker (Flat file pulled inside). I use this technique as I need just 60 Min charts!

Similarly you can pull data inside Fibotrader. .

My mandate data should be free. If I am paying for it then I don't need technical analysis at first place!

Including NSE and BSE, there are lots of other sites which provide good charts for end of day analysis. I am sure you guys know well.

But as I stated that I am looking for live streaming for couple of hrs a day only... Any suggestion?

There are 2 things for charts

1. Software - which you downloaded
2. Data - Which you need.

You need data source.

If you have data in flat files, you can pull same inside the software!
Otherwise this software is useless for you!

I use a small utility from Investbulls(not india bulls) which downloads data from NSE website at EOD with Amibroker.

You can buy that utility same from them. It is very cheap some 1000 Rs for life time!

It also downloads EOD BHAVCOPY data from NSE website for past 10 years or depending upon availability case to case basis!

This utility saves data in Comma separated Flat files!

Flat files are plain text files which have data formatted or saved with Comma separation or TAB Separation etc.

Once you open this file through Fibotrader, it automatically detects the format and with little common sense anybody can load them in Fibotrader!

I have not recommended another free software FCHART...because it has limitation, you cannot plot Log scale on it!

I also have PIB, but I use same for intraday data!

I export data from PIB Intraday chart into flat file and suck same inside amibroker

It is painful but I can live with it for free!

I have seen a lot of free utilities at other forums & net which automatically download data from ODIN inside charting software.

But FIBOTRADER doesn't allows that for free version.

You can also use the other recommendation if you wish!

Guys do you have filters for fibotrader set? I am looking for some filter which will compare moving with RSI or moving avarage with another moving avarage.
