I have reduced my trading activity in the last few months.

My trading volumes this year are much lower compared to last year.

Restricting my trading has helped my in two ways:

1. I can give more time to my work.
2. I make less losses. (I am no good at trading. The more I trade, the more I lose). .

Here is a comparison of my FY 2010-2011 trading volumes and my FY 2011-2012 trading volumes.

I too have restricted my activity for the past two years for some reason which lead to increase in my losses by not concentrating.

but Captainjeee with your self moratorium we are missing some genuine quality stock thoughts like IL&FS, VST so on... I made good money from VST industries though

Yes agree. Same with me. I have in fact made money by restricting to max lose per month to 2% of my trading capital.

I trade 1 or 2 times a month only!

Due to the same reason I too reduced it. Infact I don't trade much but tend to read (spend time) more related to market/stock.

Realised that if I would have spent the same amount of time in my office related things it could have been much more fruitful than this.
