Sectors Most Likely to Provide Capital Appreciation?

In the current recessionary scenario and credit problems, which sectors are likely to provide good returns over the next 2-3 years?

My vote is Banking!

I believe banking was first one to crash and banking would be the first one to show recovery!

IT Education looks good to me.

This sector is showing excellent growth and is less likely to be affected by a slowdown in economic activity.

Educomp, Everonn, Core Projects - all have reported excellent numbers this time.

Other than that, I can't find any "sector" that is recession-proof.

(In certain sectors, individual companies may be doing well).

The next bull run may be years away....it's too early to speculate on leaders of the next bull run...
