Default MFSS - Redeeming Mutual Funs Units

Hi

I have purchased units of IDFC ultra short term fund which is a liquid fund. I made the purchase through the my demat account MFSS facility. The funds are having the growth option .

My doubt is whether I would be able to sell those units any time I wanted? Or is it like trading shares, means there should be someone willing to buy those units in the stock exchange only then I could sell my units?

Please clear my doubts about this.

Thanks.
Noob

Under the Mutual Fund Service System (MFSS), you can redeem your units directly from the mutual fund.

You don't need to find a buyer.
