Major Changes in Price Bands of Stocks
Today, the price bands of many stocks have been increased from 5% to 10% and from 10% to 20%.
Even for stocks that were hitting circuits continuously (e.g. Allied Digital), the price bands have been increased.
This wasn't the case earlier. Till now price bands were never increased for stocks hitting circuits.
It seems the exchanges have done major changes in their guidelines for deciding the price bands of various stocks.
