Default Filing of Consolidated Results with the Exchanges

Alchemist, when I was checking RCF financial results on NSE, couldn't get even single consolidated result.

Are all the quarterly results always non-consolidated?

A company may or may not declare consolidated results on quarterly basis.

e.g.

Reliance Communications declares consolidated results every quarter.

Hindalco declares consolidated results only once a year.

I guess RCF is not sending the consolidated results to the exchanges because the consolidated results are almost the same as the standalone results. The subsidiaries of RCF have negligible revenues and profits.

If on NSE site there are only non-consolidated results both for quarter and year for any company, does that mean the company has no subsidiaries?

Thanks.

Most probably yes.

The listing agreements of NSE and BSE make it mandatory for companies to file consolidated statements with the exchanges.

There may be exceptions like in case of RCF (post #1).

To be 100% sure, you will have to check the latest annual report of the company.
