Smile Investor vs Trader

Alchemist is a champ. His story and mine have some similarities.

I also starting trading/investing when I was 22 now I am 23.

I don't know much.

I buy few shares (50 to 100)and sell them when they rise a little higher the profit I have made so far is negligible around (2000) as I don't trade much.

What is the difference between a trader and an investor? .

Investor looks for value. His logic is that sooner or later, price will catch up with value.

Trader looks for price appreciation. He doesn't care much about value.

(Short traders look for price erosion.).
