Hope to get inputs/advices over short time derivatives positions.

Today's positions:

Shorted 1 lot Airtel may futures at 385.
Shorted 1 lot Raymond may futures at 351.

Shorted 1 lot of Sintex at 178.50 early in the morning, and panic stricken with its move squared off everything too early. Managed net profit of only Rs 4000.

Shorted two lots of Dish TV July futures avg 92.85.

Squared off the two lots of dish tv at avg 91.7.

Later shorted another lot at 92.5.

Almost hurt myself trying to catch falling knife in Crompton Greaves while buying 1 lot Aug futures at 216 and another at 208. Managed to escape by squaring off both at 215.

Squared off dish tv at 90.7 just before the major fall began.

Started building the portfolio by buying-

5 Reliance @ 725.
10 Everonn @ 425.
60 IFCI @37.
20 Hindalco @131.

Why individual picks and not ETF on junior Nifty or NIFTY? Much safer bet than what you have picked?

Added 40 IFCI @35.

Sept-futures:

Bought 1 lot PFC @ 133.
Short 1 lot Hero honda @ 1954.
Short 1 lot idea @95.9.

I am facing large losses with rolled over long position on REC (Sept-futures).

The free fall seems to be continuing.

Very high risk with PFC.
