Following marketmover, Bought MBL Infra @258.9 (inclusive of all).

Inclusive of all means brokerage + STT + stamp duty+ etc (includes both buy & sell transaction charges).

I have many. Whenever I buy/sell I used to mention under the specific stock. I thought let me leave the stocks thread for some other useful discussion rather than buy/sell information.

I have put the name as "Paran's Portfolio Activity" however it has been to "paran's Portfolio" by Alchemist.

Also I don't have any plan to update my existing stocks in this thread

Bought JBF Industries @156.3 (inclusive of all). I am betting against marketmover rather than JBF

After I had bought it spiked up well and placed the sell order at 162 for Intraday trade. If it gets through I will buy back again later.

As usual after I sell, whichever I sell that stock increases. Geodesic increased by 15% today. Thank God I just sold 14% of my holdings

I think I have to sell part of holding in all of my holdings.

Sometime back sold Cairn @330.

Today sold L&T @ 1955.

Sold remaining half of MBL Infra at loss 4.5K

(should have sold all along with marketmover)

Bought KS Oils 100 @45.5 (missed to buy @40).

Bought it long time back. Didn't make much profit because I bought it at higher price in the past.

Current market scenario doesn't make to feel good. Want to be in cash.

Anyway I still have in my dad's account so even if it goes up it is good for me. If it comes down I will buy it back.

Can you post your overall holding? Another Q: I understand that you are averaging out when market is falling, do you adopt the same method when market rises for profit booking purpose?

I did the profit booking but looks like unfortunately due to current correction notional losses would increase more than the profit booked.

In the REC thread Alchemist mentioned that he intends to add at 197. When I saw the price today it was near to that price so I just bought it

.

Also I saw the chart posted by him before and wrongly remembered that 61.8% retracement is at 198. Just saw the chart and it is at 190.75.

Next retracement level of 78.6% is at 130.10. If it goes to that level will buy more.

That is the best level for investment if you can get it.

But I suggest to accumulate every 10% dip.

Company's fundamentals are good.

If you accumulate and forget then also is ok. Your kid/s can surely will get good amount of return of your investment.

Though I spent more time & money, at the end I made net loss only.

Finally I am convinced that I am not a good stock picker. So decided to invest in MF.

Started SIP in the following:
UTI MNC
HDFC Prudence
ICICI Pru focussed Bluechip
DSP Small & Mid cap

Already have some amount invested in
Reliance Growth
HDFC Top 200
HDFC Equity
Reliance RSF

Wish this would cover my previous mistakes and bring me to net profit
