Sanyadjee, actual trades are as under

I was holding 30 shares of a tata company, and intraday trade of 30 shares.

at the end of day buy =30

sell =60 [30 delivery + 30 intraday]

I first calculated delivery based then intraday based. I think it is correct procedure.

Thanks for the reply
Ram

As for as I know, based on the experience with Kotak, shares will be sold first from the intraday day trade and then delivery based trade.

In Kotak, intraday trade's brokerage is lesser than the delivery based trade.

So first priority of intraday trade is beneficial to us.

I was looking to make some quick intraday money today, and my target is solar industries,

i made some quick money of 10 rs. per share and exited , suddenly it went another 100 rs..... I lost big big big BIG opportunity if i got it right the amount gained would be more than half of my last years entire profit.

disc: this is not any kind of recommendation i am not analyst.

PI is one of the strongest agro chemical players and is one of the potential Nifty stocks in years to come. Keep holding and add whenever it is down 15-20% from the all time highs.

That is a brave call.

There are still many bigger companies and more liquid stocks that are not part of the Nifty.

UPL is the same sector is bigger and more liquid than PI and still is just a Nifty Next 50 stock.

traded intraday all the days in previous week in the same scrip [anticipating some upmove in coming], and was busy with very important work today, did not got a chance to look at what happening in the market, and that stock is up almost 16 rs. intraday today . all the hard work of no use .

Time to reduce my exposure and activity in market.

i was surprised by the results of DHFL , i was expecting bad results from nbfc and hfc, and booked heavy losses , siting demonetization affect

but taken full advantage of pmjee's speach and a fertilizer company name he mentioned in his speach, recovered small part of huge losses

only 2 more months in this fiscal i am sure i will fall miles short of my target profit this year, lost nearly 80% of my earned profits bcoz of demonitization correction in market

Rudra jee, it is just PANIC [my old enemy came back after years], i was heavily exposed to finance related companies like nbfc, hfc, auto [repco which fell like a pack of cards] etc....

which were going down like no tomorrow. i don't want to lose my capital so waited till my profits evaporate and when my capital fell into danger i decided to exit.

also sold shilpa around 700 when modijee said he want more tax from traders and i don't want to pay him any LTCG so booked my long term profit

BUT in recent 2 months almost recovered most of the profits thanks to Shilpa, REC, V-Guard, LLOYD, GNFC, Raymond, ncl

You are not alone. With years of patience, I too gave up on the mad rush and lost 2% on the debt market. (%age wise, it looks small but it hurts a lot when you are playing in safer instrument like debt funds.). Looking back, I think, it was too silly to play with duration to gain a little %age point here and there. Stupidity has no limit.

In market, you can't follow the herd and make money. If causes of concern are genuine, one needs to exit but price cannot be the determinant.

I added one NBFC heavily during the fall and it is up 40% from the recent lows.

Also in another HFC, the business itself is suffering - I didn't add a single share - just weighted patiently - and exited when it recovered decently but not earlier high. Again the reason for exit being business fundamentals and not price.

Actually I sold many and added few at that phase.

Added a bajaj stock [32% gain], south cement stock [43% gain].

Had sent you a mail, please read it.

Shifted 1/4 of my port folio to fixed deposits for few days tenure only bcoz no use of keeping the money idle in trading account and patiently waiting + searching for June quarter results.

Though there is no action on big indices, few small caps are running hard, I managed to corner ONLY one of them

May be good TIME for me.

Inflation is lower too now. There isn't much of a difference if one considers that angle.

Of course for someone who depends mostly on interest income for his daily expenses, things are more difficult now.

Made some more money by result play today, sold Sterlite.... at 192.7

Bought around 148 for result play, honestly I did not expected this price, I was looking around 168-174 only.

Shifted to a auto stock.

Disc: any stock name i mentioned is not a recommendation, I am a bad trader and sometimes i lose money.
