Default Eat Rats to Battle Food Crisis

Today's Economic Times (Suddenly Something) claims that the Bihar government is encouraging "one and all" to eat rats as a healthy alternative to expensive "rice or grains".

Have a nice day.

A few days back, I had read about it too.

Here is a link to an article on the same news.

The reasons are logical:

-rats substitute the grains.
-less rats means less grains will be eaten away.

I wonder if rats would be served in the Bihar Assembly too....

Further good news on the agriculture front:

Sewage is being used to irrigate fields in India and some other countries.

With the rats out of the way and we becoming less dependent on the monsoon and fertilisers (among other things, sewage is rich in minerals, phosphates and urea-related material), our super-power status and a booming economy are sure to follow.

As one may guess, there not much going on in my scrips !

Cities in developing countries around the world, including at least some in India, are using untreated or partially treated waste water for agriculture, posing serious health risks to urban consumers.
