Is it working?

When I click the link given on the page, I get:

May be temporary error, I had used this service in the past.

Only thing, when I tried two months back, I got an sms but the figures were updated as of 31st Mar 2010. So I could not get latest balance.

The link is working now.

However I can't try it as I don't have an EPF account.

The balance is last updated 31st March 2010.

Government expects companies to file TDS in time & employees file returns in time, however the EPFO balance is out of date by at least 1 financial year.

The form expects the account number in the following format:

CC/CCC/9999999/999/9999999

C --> Character. 9 --> Number

On my PF slip I only see an account number in the format CC/CCC/9999999/999

Where do I find the last part?

First 9999999 is establishment code. Second 999 is extension which is optional. In most cases it is omitted.

Third 9999999 is your code. I guess your code is CC/CCC/9999999//999.

I have only two characters instead of 3 in my EPF. Why is it so?

And when I select the state and city it takes CC/CCC/.. characters.

My EPF is as CC/CC/99999/999999

But when I select the state and city its shows like CC/CCC/------

How to know the accurate format in this case ?

Need to fill three columns:

1) Old office code: which I know the state code number in drop down menu.
2) Establishment Code:
3) Establishment Name:

In 2 and 3, which number need to provide?

Will I get the new code instantly on the page itself?

Put in just the establishment code (which is the first number) in your account number. leave other things blank.
