Default Gold BeES

Hi,
Just a query on GoldBees..When i searched for this name i got "Gold Benchmark Exchange Traded Scheme". Is this also an NSE Share in which we can trade like normal stocks?? Looks like it is somewhat like mutual fund? How to trade with these type of Schemes? Could be a very basic query but i havent come across this before...

Thanks!

Gold BeES is an exchange traded fund.

it is a mutual fund which is traded on the exchange.

Gold BeES can be traded just like your normal stocks. In fact GoldBeES is the best among the lot of gold etf's in India. For more info you may check the benchmark website. www.benchmarkfunds.com

I don't think so.

Each Gold BeES unit equals 1 gram of Gold.

Gold doesn't pay dividends.

If the ETF wants to pay a dividend, the ETF will have to start selling gold and this would mean the parity between the ETF units and gold would be lost.

I need to correct myself.

Reliance's Gold ETF has a dividend option:

I want to ask what are the charges one experiences suppose one invest say Rs. 5000 in a year on gold ETF?

I mean how it works. I have heard one charges vault charges and insurance on ETF.

But I want to see literal example or say statement wise as I have heard and found it to be expensive than physical gold.
