If I buy a fresh stock (price 5) and while placing a order I put stop loss price as 4 and the trade go through. but during the (same) day I place a new order of same stock to sell at 4.5 price and that also get traded, WILL THE STOP LOSS ALSO GET TRIGGERED if the price goes below 4 (on same day). If yes, will I end up having short sell? How to cancel the stop loss for the already traded stock?

When you a place a buy order, you can't have a stop-loss (to sell) in the same order.

Your stop-loss sell order will be a separate order, which you can cancel later.

If you sell your stock at 4.5, you should manually cancel your stop-loss sell order that you placed at 4.
