Default Query on Market Depth

Hi all, I am new in this forum though not entirely new to trading. I have started a thread as I could not see any other that deals with my question, which is - is it possible to see the bids and asks beyond the 5 that ODIN shows, for any instrument, though I am specifically interested in cash equities only - thanks in advance.

As far as I know, that is not possible.

The NSE provides market depth details only up to the 5 best bid and ask prices.

Well, that is it - anyway thank you Alchemist.

I am mostly doing day-trading and though I cannot say I earn a living through it ( mainly because I am still too scared to scale up ) it is fairly successful. I am really surprised that most of the threads here under the banner day-trading seems to be full of negative approach - almost every one asserting that it is impossible to day trade profitably. One thing I can tell - all those who say that would be saying from their own experience and they sincerely believe it. But the funny thing is - only those who sincerely believe that it IS possible to day-trade profitably would stand any chance of achieving it. I am quite happy with my own trading and I am not interested in starting a consultancy business - now that I am here let me share with you my tools - mostly I trade one of these stocks Tata Steel/ Tata Motors/ ICICI Bank/ SBI - I have a basic subscription to icharts that set to 1 day time-frame and I watch 1 minute charts - I look at just the price action only; though Bollinger Bands won't hurt. I watch market depth data to time entries and generally exits are where breakout traders enter. I think I have given enough clues for the aspiring day - traders to work out a profitable trading plan - wish you all good luck!

PS- right now it is like peeking through a narrow slit - I was wondering if it is possible to widen that slit somehow with more bid ask data!
