Margin for Day Trading

I'm using HDFCSec for investment/trading. The margin amount required for some securities is 30%, while for others it is as high as 50%.

There also seems to be a restriction on some companies, which are not available for day trading. The error that I get is "Fresh margin orders are not allowed for this security"

So, can the members share information about the margin amount of various broking houses that they use.

And, also if day trading in all scrips is possible with other brokers?

In IIFL (India Infoline) there are A, B, C ,D, E, Z categories.. margins are different for each category ..max..10 times for E category...trade to trade scrips are not allowed for intraday.
