I don,t think there is any extra charges to provide you margin amount on your ledger balance.

You can always use that amount for day trading.

It's good that you square off on time yourself otherwise your broker has to square off after time limit on the same day.

In that case you need to be extra careful in order to prevent any auction or brokerage charges etc.

Suggestion for you:

Day trading normally gives losses so be careful when you do day trading.

Broker definitely makes money with their charges when you buy and sell equities.

Happy trading and Investing

Brokers wouldn't charge you for providing exposure in a IntraDay, it's included in brokerage.

Brokers would have separately defined brokerage for Intra-D. Other things levied are ST, STT and Stamp Duty.

I bet you're Standard Chartered. That's the margin they offer, almost always.
